Kenneth Thomas was born and lived in the Northfield area until he joined the
the Air Force after graduation. Ken married Marlene Boers (class
of 56)
in December 1958. Ken and Marlene had 3 sons Keith, Dennis & Paul,
they live in the Shreveport, Bossier City area of Louisiana they have 5
grandchildren. Ken and Marlene were divorced in 1986 after 27
years
of marriage.
Ken spent 21 years in the Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant.
He spent his career in the Fire Department as a fire fighter, in fire
prevention
training, and as an instructor. He was a designer for training
simulators for
Fire Chiefs Courses when he retired. Ken was stationed at Chanute
AFB Ill. and was the Assistant Fire Chief while stationed in South
Korea. Ken loved the Air Force.
After retiring from the Air Force he went to work for the Automatic
Sprinkler
Corp.
Ken died of heart failure February 1988 after a short stay in the
hospital. |
